Sell your Honda Accord, Civic, CR-V or Odyssey

Cars, SUVs, minivans and the Ridgeline, running or not. Here’s what to tell us about each.

  • Honda Civic

Honda’s compact car, sedan, coupe or hatchback. Tell us the mileage and any warning lights, and show the body in your photos.

  • Honda Accord

Honda’s midsize sedan, four-cylinder, V6 or hybrid. Mention which engine it has, and anything that’s been repaired.

  • Honda CR-V

Honda’s compact SUV. Tell us whether it has all-wheel drive, and whether the heat and air conditioning work as they should.

  • Honda Pilot

Honda’s three-row midsize SUV. Photos of all three rows and the cargo area show its condition.

  • Honda Odyssey

Honda’s minivan. Let us know whether the power sliding doors work, and show the seats in your photos.

  • Honda HR-V

Honda’s small SUV. Tell us the trim and the mileage, and whether it has all-wheel drive.

  • Honda Fit

Honda’s small hatchback, sold in the U.S. through the 2020 model year. Older, high-mileage Fits are welcome.

  • Honda Ridgeline

Honda’s midsize pickup. Tell us about a towing package or other changes, and show the bed in your photos.

What affects your Honda’s offer

Mileage and condition count for every car. These are the Honda-specific things to tell us about.

  • Takata airbag recalls

Honda warned owners of certain 2001–2003 Hondas and Acuras with unrepaired Takata driver airbag inflators, including 2001–2002 Accords and Civics, not to drive them except to a dealer for the free repair. If yours is on the list, tell us whether it’s been fixed.

  • Hybrids

On a Civic Hybrid, Accord Hybrid or Insight, the hybrid battery is a big part of the value. Mention any hybrid system warning, or a battery that’s been replaced.

  • Open recalls

Recall repairs are free at an authorized dealer, so it’s worth checking your VIN or plate before you sell.

  • Miles and maintenance

High mileage is welcome. What matters is how it runs today, so be specific about warning lights and anything that’s been repaired.

How selling your Honda works

  1. Tell us about your car

The year, model, mileage and how it runs, plus a few photos.

  2. Review your offer

It usually comes back in minutes and is good for 7 days or 300 miles. There’s no obligation.

  3. Hand over the keys. Get paid.

We pick it up wherever it’s parked, for free, and pay you at pickup once the title is signed.

Before you sell your Honda

A few things to sort out before pickup.

  • Check for open recalls with your VIN or plate, airbag recalls especially. Recall repairs are free at an authorized dealer. NHTSA recall lookup
  • Remove the car from your Honda app account, and cancel or transfer any connected services.
  • Clear your phone, garage codes and saved addresses from the dashboard screen.
  • Find every key and fob, and have the title in your name with no loans or liens on it.

Questions about selling a Honda.

What Honda owners ask us most.

Do you buy Hondas with high mileage?

Yes. Older and high-mileage Hondas are welcome. Tell us the mileage and condition as they are, and the offer reflects it.

Will you buy a Honda that doesn’t run?

Yes, and pickup is still free. It just needs to be somewhere a tow truck can reach.

Do you buy Honda SUVs and minivans?

Yes: CR-Vs, HR-Vs, Pilots, Odysseys and Ridgelines, as well as Civics, Accords and Fits.

What if my Honda has an open airbag recall?

Tell us about it when you request your offer. The repair is free at a Honda dealer, and for certain 2001–2003 models, NHTSA says to drive the car only to the dealer for it.

Do I need my Honda’s service records?

No, but they help. Records showing regular maintenance back up the condition you describe.

Is Sell My Car Online part of Honda?

No. We’re an independent car buyer that buys directly from owners, Honda owners included.
