What affects your Acura’s offer
Mileage and condition count for every car. These are the Acura-specific things to tell us about.
Takata airbag recalls
Honda warned owners of certain 2002–2003 Acura 3.2 TLs and 2003 3.2 CLs with unrepaired Takata driver airbag inflators not to drive them except to a dealer for the free repair. If yours is one, tell us whether it’s been fixed.

Timing belt service
If your Acura’s timing belt has been replaced, tell us and keep the receipt. It’s one of the bigger maintenance jobs, and proof that it’s done counts.
Open recalls
Recall repairs are free at an authorized dealer, so it’s worth checking your VIN or plate before you sell.

Miles and maintenance
High mileage is welcome. What matters is how it runs today, so be specific about warning lights and anything that’s been repaired.

Questions about selling an Acura.
What Acura owners ask us most.
Do you buy Acuras with high mileage?
Yes. Older and high-mileage Acuras are welcome. Tell us the mileage and condition as they are, and the offer reflects it.
Will you buy an Acura that doesn’t run?
Yes, and pickup is still free. It just needs to be somewhere a tow truck can reach.
Do you buy Acura SUVs?
Yes: MDXs and RDXs, as well as TLX, TL, TSX, ILX and RLX sedans.
What if my Acura has an open airbag recall?
Tell us about it when you request your offer. The repair is free at an Acura dealer, and for certain 2002–2003 models, NHTSA says to drive the car only to the dealer for it.
Do I need my Acura’s service records?
No, but they help, especially for a timing belt replacement or other major service.
Is Sell My Car Online part of Acura?
No. We’re an independent car buyer that buys directly from owners, Acura owners included.
